Osteopathic Manual Therapy

Safe, Effective Treatment for All Ages

Non-invasive, hands-on techniques to address the entire body, supporting your wellbeing and overall health.

Understanding Osteopathy

What is Osteopathic Manual Therapy?

Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a distinct branch of Manual Therapy that uses non-invasive techniques to address the entire body, with the goal of supporting wellbeing and overall health.

Osteopathy was founded by Andrew Taylor Still who established the first Osteopathic College in 1892 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Core Principles:

  • The body functions as a whole, integrated unit
  • Structure and function are interrelated
  • Proper circulation and drainage of fluids is essential
  • The body has an inherent tendency towards the normal
